Master Eli Finkel: Eli Finkel is an associate
professor of psychology. He was a Northwestern University undergraduate and member of the Residential College community from
1993 to 1997. He returned as a professor of psychology in 2003. His research focuses on close relationships, romantic attraction,
and self-control. He has earned extensive recognition for his work in the classroom, including the Weinberg College of Arts
and Sciences Distinguished Teaching Award. When asked five reasons why he loves CCS, he said: "the exuberance,
the camaraderie, the multiculturalism, the intellectuality, and the desserts." Contact Info:

Associate Master Christina Russin: Chris Russin is a senior lecturer in the Program in Biological Sciences. She received her Ph.D. from the University
of Wisconsin – Madison in botany in 1998 and came to Northwestern in 2003. She teaches several classes about plants,
including Plant-People Interactions and Plant Biology. She loves insanely large jigsaw puzzles, complicated cross-stitch,
baking, and gardening. She is also attempting to learn crochet, but it is going slowly. She blames her left-handedness, but
this could be to divert attention from her poor motor skills. Five reasons why she loves CCS are "the close-knit
community, the wealth of talent, the spirit of service, the diversity of the students, and, I have to say, the support of
my overly enthusiastic desserts. CCS is awesome!" Contact

Assistant Master Abby Trollinger:
Abby is a third year Ph.D. student in History. She studies
20th Century American immigration and religion, specifically in urban areas like Chicago. She is interested in how people
live and practice their traditions/beliefs in a new culture - and how those already there respond. She grew up in a
small town, but she loves the city - especially the Ethiopian and Mexican restaurants near her apartment. Finally, she
is a huge fan of the Denver Broncos and professional football in general.Contact Info:
